Privacy policy

This policy explains what the Yope Ambassador Program collects on creators.yope.app, why, who can see it, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

When you apply and take part in the program we collect:

  • Your first and last name, your country, your email address, your phone number and your Telegram nickname.
  • The social accounts you give us: your personal TikTok if you add it, the new TikTok you connect and the new Instagram profile you send. When you connect TikTok, TikTok shares your profile and its statistics with us; we never see your password.
  • Payout details you enter in your cabinet (bank or PayPal). They are stored encrypted.
  • The videos you submit and their view counts.
  • The emails you exchange with Yope Ambassador Team.
  • How you use this site: the pages you open and the steps you complete, tied to a random identifier in a cookie. We do not use advertising trackers.

Why we collect it

To review your application, to run the program with you (warm-up, trial and the monthly program), to pay you, to answer your questions, and to see where applicants get stuck so we can make the site clearer.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data. It is seen by:

  • The Yope team and the managers responsible for your region.
  • Google, which hosts the spreadsheets our managers work in (Google Sheets), our analytics warehouse (BigQuery) and our email.
  • Service providers that run parts of the program for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Clerk (sign-in codes), Chatwoot (our email inbox) and Anthropic (drafting automated email replies).
  • TikTok, only when you choose to connect your account.

How long we keep it

An application that is never completed is removed from our operational database after 30 days without activity; a copy is retained in our analytics warehouse. Everything else is retained while you take part in the program. Payment records are retained as long as the law requires.

Deleting your data

Email ambassadors@yope.tv from the address you applied with and ask us to delete your data. We delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember how you arrived (for example a campaign link) and to count the steps of the application. They are not used for advertising.
